"Monkey jungle closed by herpes
The drive-through monkey jungle at Longleat in Wiltshire has closed after a monkey was found to have herpes.
Only one creature in the group, a female, was found to have Simian Herpes during routine tests of the rhesus monkey colony at the safari park.
Longleat said the jungle will remain closed while they investigate how the monkey tested positive as none of the other monkeys have done so.
The monkeys are regularly tested by the Health Protection Agency."
